My experience with Eventos de Oro was nothing but positive. I truly couldn’t imagine planning this on my own. As a Canadian, there was already so much involved in getting my documents in order, so having Daya by my side throughout the entire process was such a blessing.
She was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive. If there was ever something she didn’t know, she made sure to find out quickly. We chose to have a civil ceremony, which I initially worried might not feel special—but Daya and her team thought of everything and created an experience I will never forget. The attention to detail was truly second to none.
I would highly recommend adding the hair and makeup and photography services. The stylist stayed with me throughout the photo shoot to ensure everything remained perfect, which made such a difference. I would also strongly suggest the photo tour. We were driven in a classic convertible to three beautiful, well-known locations around Havana. Riding through the city, sitting on the backs of the seats while the car horn sounded, was absolutely unforgettable.
Daya made sure to consult with us before moving forward with anything, which made us feel completely comfortable and involved. The entire documentation process was also handled seamlessly by Eventos de Oro, which took a huge amount of stress off our shoulders.
I highly recommend booking with them. The cost is very reasonable for the level of service and care you receive.

Ho scelto Eventos de Oro dopo che ChatGPT me li aveva indicati come i migliori wedding planner a Cuba. Ammetto che all’inizio sono andato con i piedi di piombo, con la naturale paura di essere truffato. Con il tempo, grazie ai tanti messaggi scambiati con Daya, ho iniziato a rilassarmi e a fidarmi.
Quando è arrivato il momento di pagare il deposito, mi sono di nuovo irrigidito: mandare soldi a Cuba è complicato, soprattutto per via del cambio ufficiale proibitivo rispetto al mercato informale. La soluzione proposta - un tramite in Florida (USA) - non mi ha sorpreso, ma non mi faceva comunque stare tranquillo. Dopo mille controlli e tante domande (ancora a ChatGPT!), ho deciso di accettare il sistema. Subito dopo il pagamento, Eventos de Oro mi ha inviato la fattura: tutto perfetto e trasparente. Il resto della somma lo abbiamo portato in contanti.
Daya, la titolare, sembra più una donna svizzera che cubana: precisione assoluta, ogni passo organizzato nei minimi dettagli, con un vero e proprio run sheet (un programma operativo dettagliato, minuto per minuto).
In Italia è già difficile trovare un’organizzazione così impeccabile; figuriamoci nella gioiosa ma spesso caotica Cuba. Da olandese, questo livello di professionalità mi ha dato una tranquillità enorme.
C’è poi un aspetto umano che mi ha colpito profondamente: sia Daya sia Julio (uno degli organizzatori) si sono visibilmente commossi quando hanno visto una lacrima sulla mia guancia al momento del “sì, lo voglio”. Dopo aver organizzato tanti matrimoni, non mi aspettavo una sensibilità così autentica.
Il risultato è stato un matrimonio perfetto, scorrevole, emozionante, che non dimenticheremo mai.
Se state pensando di sposarvi a Cuba, non cercate altrove e non provate a fare da soli: non risparmiereste nulla, perché loro hanno convenzioni e contatti che un privato non può avere. Fidatevi serenamente di Daya e del suo team.
